Huawei's 6th Global Installer Summit: Harnessing AI for Renewable Energy Opportunities
Recently, Huawei held its sixth Global Installer Summit at Songshan Lake in Dongguan, China. This prestigious event saw more than 500 partners and installers from 29 countries converge to discuss current industry trends, solutions, and innovative business models. The aim was to forge new pathways that promote quality development in the renewable energy sector, particularly as it intersects with advancements in artificial intelligence.
In his keynote address, Zhou Jianjun, Vice President of Huawei and Head of Global Marketing, Sales, and Services at Huawei Digital Power, outlined the company's deterministic strategy encompassing AI, digitization, smart technologies, and carbon reduction initiatives. Zhou emphasized the critical role of quality in Huawei’s ambitions, reinforcing the company’s commitment to fostering partnerships based on mutual success and high standards.
Xia Hesheng, CMO of Huawei Digital Power, underscored that the core purpose of Huawei is to serve its customers, with customer needs driving the development agenda. The organization is dedicated to maintaining high quality throughout the entire lifecycle of its products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and trust.
Jack Tong, Head of Huawei's Global Housing and CI Business Unit, delved into Huawei FusionSolar's installation strategy. He highlighted the importance of evolving from energy consumers to producer-consumers, where installers and EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) function as quality assurance providers and value creators.
Further insights were shared by Allen Zeng, Head of the Technical Service and Operations Department at Huawei Digital Power. Zeng stated that Huawei is committed to simplifying and enhancing the work of its installers through a three-dimensional service system that prioritizes quality, expertise, and vision.
