In an exciting announcement, Artlog, based in Osaka and led by CEO Daisuke Suzuki, has revealed that Akihito Okunaka’s interactive installation,
INTER-WORLD/Cocooner: Apparent motion of celestial bodies, will be part of the upcoming
TOKYO LIGHTS 2026 event. Scheduled to run from
May 23 to May 31, 2026, the installation will be showcased in the
Light Art Park section of the event, located in
Shinjuku Central Park.
A Legacy of Experience from the Expo
Originally featured as an official program of the
2025 Osaka Kansai Expo, this unique installation captivated audiences for
184 days through its immersive experience. Okunaka’s artwork acts as a soft sculpture that amplifies Earth's phenomena, created through the interplay of air, water, and sunlight. It allows viewers not only to observe but to step inside and be enveloped by the light and space, creating a complete sensory experience.
