In an exciting development for K-POP enthusiasts in Japan, former ASTRO member ROCKY (LaKi) has been invited to lead special workshops at the Tokyo School of Music and Dance (TSM) as part of the newly launched four-year K-POP Dance Study Program. This initiative aims to provide students with foundational training in language and performance while preparing them for potential long-term studies in Korea. The workshops will take place over two days, May 23rd and 24th, 2026, serving as a beacon for aspiring K-POP artists.

The program hosted by TSM and the Tokyo Dance, Actor & Performing Arts School (DA TOKYO) commemorates the commencement of their K-POP Dance Study Program, which is unique in Japan as it offers a comprehensive educational experience without the need to leave the country. Details of the Event
On May 23rd, the event will kick off at TSM with registration starting at 11:45 AM, followed by a 90-minute hands-on lesson starting at 1:30 PM. On May 24th, the session will be held at DA TOKYO with registration at noon and lessons beginning at 2:00 PM. Both schools aim to bridge the gap between local education and international performance standards, ensuring that students gain firsthand experience that will be beneficial in their future endeavors.
