Constantine Cannon LLP has recently announced the welcoming of Dan Noel to its San Francisco office as an Associate. Mr. Noel's extensive background in litigation and government enforcement, particularly in California, positions him as a significant asset to the firm, renowned for its antitrust and whistleblower legal services.

Prior to this role, Dan Noel served as a clerk for the Honorable Nathanael Cousins of the United States District Court in the Northern District of California. This experience has provided him with valuable insights into federal legal proceedings, enhancing his capabilities as an attorney. Furthermore, he held the position of Deputy Attorney General within the Corporate Fraud Section at the California Department of Justice, where he tackled complex cases related to corporate fraud.

Constantine Cannon’s whistleblower practice has set precedents in handling some of the most impactful whistleblower cases in history. The firm has excelled in issues related to the federal and state False Claims Acts, and their work with the SEC and CFTC Whistleblower Programs has been pivotal in uncovering fraudulent activities across various industries, such as healthcare, banking, and government contracting.

Beyond his legal expertise, Mr. Noel is an accomplished athlete. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego, where he also led the track and field team and was named Track & Field Athlete of the Year. He later attained a Master of Science in kinesiology from California State Polytechnic University Humboldt and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Prior to law school, he dedicated three years to coaching track and cross-country at Menlo College in Atherton, California.
