AHKAH's New Identity: A Fresh Logo and Vision for the Future



The Japanese fine jewelry brand AHKAH, founded in 1997 and currently under the leadership of President Mitsuyoshi Shinohara, is set to unveil its new brand logo. This transformation, effective from May 23, 2025, marks a crucial step in its endeavor to expand globally. AHKAH aims to transcend borders, generations, and gender, making its exquisite jewelry more accessible to a wider audience.

Having become a part of the TASAKI Group in 2018, AHKAH rejuvenated its management and creative direction. The inclusion of celebrated designer and creative director Katie Hillier in 2020 has significantly shaped the brand’s direction. Recognized for her contributions to various luxury brands, Hillier brings with her a wealth of experience in chic and modern design, merging sophistication with natural elements.

AHKAH has seen remarkable progress, with stores not only established in Japan but also in prestigious locations worldwide including Paris's Le Bon Marché and Shanghai's IFC mall. This expansion story reflects the brand's commitment to growing its influence globally while staying true to its roots. The rebranding initiative is encapsulated in the new brand concept, “Bring out brilliance,” which emphasizes the jewelry's ability to resonate with one's inner light, enhancing the wearer's charm.

With the launch of its revamped identity, AHKAH will debut a new collection of fine jewelry on June 18 at the Isetan Shinjuku Store, followed by a special preview at the newly renovated AHKAH GINZA SIX store on June 28, and at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store on July 2. Each of these locations will be the first to showcase AHKAH's new designs that reflect both traditional Japanese sensitivity and the bold creativity brought forth by Hillier's innovative vision.

She has worked as a designer and creative director for various luxury brands and now operates out of London and New York. Her designs blend sophistication and naturalness into chic and modern styles.
