OASIZ Launches a Project to Discover and Develop Screenwriters for Growth

OASIZ Launches Screenwriter Discovery and Development Project

Innovative marketing company, OASIZ, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, is set to amplify its growth with the launch of a new project designed to discover and nurture aspiring screenwriters. Beginning August 19, 2026, OASIZ will open a call for submissions, inviting participants to create short drama scripts based on the theme from their official account, "Seikai Ga Wakaranai".

With a focus on vertical video content for platforms like TikTok, OASIZ has made significant strides in brand marketing, racking up an impressive 5.5 billion views across its operations. Supported by well-known companies such as Nestlé Japan, Japan Airlines, and Rohto Pharmaceutical, the firm aims to strengthen its creative team through this new recruitment initiative.

Project Overview

OASIZ has gained recognition for its scriptwriting and production prowess, demonstrated further when its account "Seikai Ga Wakaranai" won the Grand Prize at the Mynavi Short Drama Awards 2026. To build on this success, OASIZ will not only seek new talent via traditional recruitment avenues; instead, they will connect with aspiring screenwriters through the creation of short dramas for social media.

The application process involves submitting original scripts that capture the challenges of living in a time of uncertainty—particularly for younger generations aged 10 to 20. Themes can encompass friendship, love, family, job hunting, and dreams, promoting creativity and emotional resonance.

Application Details

After the selection process, one outstanding work will be chosen for production, granting the winner the rights to the film adaptation. The selected screenwriter will receive direct mentorship from OASIZ’s own writer, Tomoki Shirakawa, who recently won the coveted Mynavi Short Drama Award.

In addition to the recruitment project, OASIZ will host a webinar titled "Secrets to Writing Short Drama Scripts that Generate an Average of 2 Million Views on Social Media" on September 7, 2026, at 20:00.
