TAKEO PACKAGE EXHIBITION 2025

The TAKEO PACKAGE EXHIBITION 2025, themed ‘10 Years Later: Paper and Life’, will be held at the TAKEO Mihoncho Main Store from November 4 to December 25, 2025. This second exhibition by TAKEO, a renowned specialty paper trading company located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, follows a successful event held in the autumn of 2022.

The relationship between paper and humanity has thrived for almost over 2,000 years, constantly transforming our lives and fostering a rich cultural background through art and scholarship. Today, as our lifestyles and work habits grow ever more diverse, it is anticipated that our values and behaviors will continue to evolve in response to numerous changes in society.

But what will the interaction between paper and people look like 10 years from now?

In this year's exhibition, TAKEN has invited in-house designers from four leading companies: Suntory, Panasonic, Pola, and Lotte. Each designer will explore how they envision the interaction between paper and people in 2035 from their unique perspectives. They will not only demonstrate the various packaging that may reflect the ‘now’ of today’s lives but will also specifically illustrate a scene from daily life in 2035.
