Discover the Beauty of Japan’s National Parks at EXPO2025
If you've ever felt the call of nature and wished to explore the majestic landscapes of Japan's national parks, then mark your calendars for September 19 to 23, 2025. The Environment Ministry is proudly presenting an interactive exhibition titled "National Parks Are Here!" at the Gallery WEST during the EXPO2025 in Osaka, a landmark event that promises to transform your understanding of Japan’s natural wonders. This year’s theme is designed to convert your curiosity into a desire to visit these stunning locations.
The exhibition will highlight the allure of 35 national parks across Japan, each with its own blend of breathtaking scenery and rich cultural narratives. The official slogan, "There’s a story in that nature," emphasizes the unique tales each park has to tell. Attendees will be invited to immerse themselves in an adventure that not only entertains but educates, offering a combination of excitement and learning that will resonate with visitors from both Japan and abroad.
A Unique Experience Awaits
The exhibition is set in a stamp rally format, creatively designed to capture the interest of participants as they navigate through four engaging zones: "See," "Know," "Promote," and "Capture." By exploring each zone, visitors will deepen their understanding of Japan's national parks while appreciating the significance of environmental conservation, all in a fun and interactive way.
Upon experiencing each zone, visitors will encounter rare animal characters representing Japan’s national parks, which will appear digitally. Participants can scan QR codes to collect stamps. No app installation is necessary; just a smartphone will do! By gathering all four stamps, attendees will receive an exclusive original bandana featuring a map of Japan’s national parks. However, supplies are limited, so be sure to collect yours while you can!
Fostering a Love for National Parks
More than just an exhibition, this initiative serves as a gateway to discovering the essence of Japan’s nature. It aims to turn visitors into passionate advocates of national parks, with the ambition of making these remarkable natural settings a primary travel destination. By weaving together digital storytelling and environmental consciousness, the experience ensures that guests go from "knowing" about national parks to "loving" them, ultimately inspiring a desire to visit.
The exhibition is not just a spectacle but a strategic platform for the future of travel, establishing a long-lasting connection between potential travelers and the national parks.
