With an incredibly low acceptance rate, only about 15% of hospitals in North America (the United States and Canada) and less than 1% in Japan hold this prestigious accreditation. As such, achieving AAHA status is a remarkable feat for any veterinary practice, especially in a local setting.

Since opening its doors in 2022, the Kakogawa Elsa Veterinary Medical Center has prioritized the quality of its medical services, the comfort of its waiting rooms and examination areas, and the informative communication with pet owners. To prepare for the rigorous AAHA accreditation review, the center meticulously addressed all 20 sections of the evaluation, including anesthesia, pain management, examination areas, and customer service.
