The Rise of Student Creativity: Results from the Montage Competition 2025 and Future Plans

The Montage Competition 2025, organized by Eporte, has officially announced its results. This video production contest targeted junior high and high school students across Japan, aiming to encourage creativity, expression, and the ability to convey messages through editing gameplay footage. The event showcased an impressive collection of works, demonstrating not only technical editing skills but also the thought process behind what messages the creators wished to convey and how to visually present them.

This inaugural competition provided a rich platform for students to engage deeply with the process of video creation. Submissions featured works where students independently thought through composition, editing, and expression. The evolving landscape of video production as a tool for active learning was underscored by the student involvement observed in this contest.
