Pacific Palisades Community Council: Rebuilding a Vibrant Community After Devastating Wildfires
Rebuilding the Heart of Pacific Palisades
Nestled in the western part of Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades is known for its breathtaking landscapes, from coastal bluffs to rolling hills and lush wooded canyons. Yet, beyond its stunning geography, the true essence of the area lies in its close-knit community spirit. After the devastating wildfires in January 2025, which obliterated over 6,800 homes and altered countless lives, the Pacific Palisades Community Council (PPCC) has taken the lead in efforts to revive and rebuild the community.

The wildfires, which struck suddenly on January 7, shattered the lives of many residents, displacing families and erasing irreplaceable memories. Community members now find themselves grappling with the emotional toll of loss as they seek to come together and rebuild their once-vibrant neighborhood.
