Introduction to J-COOL WSM
In an era where cyber threats are increasing daily, companies are under constant pressure to protect their web applications from vulnerabilities. J-COOL, headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, has recognized this challenge and is excited to announce the launch of its innovative service, J-COOL WSM (Web Security Measures), set to commence on June 18, 2025.
Understanding the Challenges Post-Security Diagnosis
Traditionally, security assessment services, such as those provided by multiple companies, could identify vulnerabilities in web applications. However, once these weaknesses are pinpointed, organizations frequently face significant costs to rectify them. Additionally, the pricing structure for remediation is often opaque, placing an unexpected financial burden on businesses.
All-Inclusive Service with J-COOL WSM
To address these issues, J-COOL WSM offers an all-encompassing service that not only assesses security vulnerabilities but also provides remediation at a fixed price. This integrated service is designed to simplify the process for clients by eliminating unexpected costs associated with remediation.
Plans Offered
J-COOL WSM presents two comprehensive plans for clients:
Standard Plan
- - Initial Fee: Utilization fee for 'Securify' - 660,000 JPY (tax included), valid for one year.
- - Monthly Fee: Ranging from 33,000 JPY to 77,000 JPY (tax included) for a 12-month contract. Customers who have contracted J-COOL’s website update service enjoy a 50% discount on the monthly fee.
Premium Plan
- - Customized Quotation: For comprehensive analysis and potential security fixes, the estimated cost starts at 2 million JPY. This plan utilizes KDDI Digital Security Corporation's diagnostic tools and applies an attacker’s perspective to simulate assaults, uncovering inherent vulnerabilities within web applications. The result will guide remedial actions based on detailed reports.
Importance of Security in E-Commerce Operations
As the e-commerce landscape expands, security has become paramount. The Credit Transaction Security Measures Council has introduced the 'Credit Card Security Guidelines (6.0)', mandating e-commerce operators to implement three essential security measures and report their status by April 2025:
1. Conduct vulnerability assessments on their systems and websites.
2. Establish appropriate measures against unauthorized logins.
3. Implement EMV 3-D Secure protocols.
Through J-COOL WSM, we aim to deliver accessible web security solutions at competitive pricing, ensuring small to medium enterprises can operate their websites with confidence.
