ACC Heavy Duty Launches Fleet Solutions Program
On January 15, 2026, ACC Heavy Duty, a subsidiary of Multi Parts Solutions, unveiled the ACC Fleet Solutions program, aimed at alleviating the persistent issue of chronically failing components within commercial fleets. This innovative initiative offers custom-engineered replacement parts at no upfront cost to fleet operators, enabling them to replace inadequately performing parts with solutions designed specifically for their needs.
The ACC Fleet Solutions program is a timely response to an increasing challenge faced by commercial fleets. As economic pressures extend the service life of vehicles, aging trucks frequently encounter component failures that traditional aftermarket solutions cannot adequately address. Through this program, fleets can identify parts that are prone to failure, allowing ACC Heavy Duty's engineering team to develop improvements that outlast and outperform the original equipment.
Innovative Engineering Support
This new approach builds on the engineering capabilities that ACC Heavy Duty acquired through its acquisition by Multi Parts Solutions in 2023. Multi Parts Solutions, founded in 1988, employs over 110 professionals across three continents, with approximately 25% of them holding advanced degrees in various engineering fields. Their proprietary Sigma development process, combined with a substantial $12 million investment in engineering and testing infrastructures, enables rapid production timelines. Most custom-engineered parts can be ready for fleet testing within six to twelve months.
Scott Robertson, the Vice President of Sales at Multi Parts Solutions, acknowledged the unprecedented financial pressures fleet managers are currently facing: "As we head into year four of a freight recession, fleets face unprecedented pressure on their bottom lines. Vehicles are staying in service longer, which creates new failure patterns that OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) engineers—who are focused on future developments—are not addressing. ACC Fleet Solutions empowers fleets to eliminate persistently failing components and replace them with reliable, engineered solutions."
ACC Heavy Duty enjoys a reputation for quality, derived from its long-standing partnerships with three out of the four major truck manufacturers. "Our relationships with OEMs affirm the high-quality standards we maintain for each part we create," stated Robertson. "Top manufacturers trust ACC Heavy Duty for their private-label offerings, ensuring our components meet or exceed OEM specifications."
Addressing Specific Challenges
Pilot programs conducted with leading national fleets have already demonstrated the efficiency of this model. For example, engineers at ACC Heavy Duty successfully tackled ongoing fuel pump failures by dissecting the failed units, pinpointing design flaws, and providing an enhanced replacement that has shown promising results. Another project involved modernizing turn signal switches that were based on a legacy design over 40 years old; the updated parts exhibit significantly improved reliability. Both solutions are now advancing into production stages.
Meet the New Lead
The launch of the ACC Fleet Solutions program is being spearheaded by Brett Delp, who has been appointed as the commercial fleet sales manager. Delp comes with more than 15 years' experience in the commercial vehicle sector, fusing practical technical expertise with a solid background in national account management. He began as a diesel technician at Ryder System and JB Hunt Transport, building a wealth of experience before transitioning to Dorman Products and later working as a national account manager at Stertil-Koni, the heavy-duty lift manufacturer.
Delp expressed his commitment to addressing core issues faced by fleet managers: "Having started my career as a technician, I've questioned why certain components were designed the way they were. Now, I get the chance to collaborate with engineers who can develop better solutions. Our goal is to find lasting fixes for maintenance managers dealing with frequent failures."
Delp is also a graduate of the Technology & Maintenance Council’s Leaders of Tomorrow program and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from DeSales University, along with an associate degree in diesel technology from WyoTech.
Industry Showcase
ACC Heavy Duty will present the Fleet Solutions program at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) from January 19 to 22, 2026, in Grapevine, Texas. Interested parties can reach out to Brett Delp for more details at (215) 896-2028.
