As the Osaka Kansai Expo approaches, the Sakishima Cosmo Tower, a landmark in the Osaka Bay area, is set to shine with stunning light art titled "SAKISHIMA LIGHTING ART." This extraordinary display will take place from April 13 to October 13, 2025, and is recognized as the largest laser mapping event of its kind in the Kansai region.

A Transformative Experience Through Light

The light show will showcase seasonal performances that transform the tower’s northern outer wall using advanced laser mapping technology. Initiated with the theme "Colors of Life, Radiance of the Future", the performance aims to express the beauty and energy of life and nature, illustrating a strong, vibrant connection to the future.

Starting with the spring performance titled "Birth" on April 13, the event will progress to the summer show, "Radiance," beginning on June 1, 2025. Each season will explore different themes and visuals, including interpretations influenced by environmental data collected during the Osaka Expo of 1970, where seasonal elements such as tides, solar radiation, and wind patterns will be visually represented.

During the summer performance, which celebrates life’s light, themes of sunshine and summer motifs will be depicted boldly and directly, reflecting the essence of connection through light between Yumeshima and Sakishima.
