Discover Elegoo's Stunning 3D Printed Innovations at Open Sauce 2025

Elegoo's Spectacular Showcases at Open Sauce 2025

Elegoo, a rapidly growing name in the world of smart manufacturing, made waves at the Open Sauce event on July 18, 2025, held at the San Mateo County Event Center. Known as one of the largest gatherings for makers and tech enthusiasts, this year's event gathered creators from all around the globe to celebrate innovation and creativity in technology, particularly in 3D printing.

A Celebration of 3D Printing and Collaboration

During the three-day event, from July 18 to July 20, Elegoo presented a stunning lineup of 3D printed creations that combined STEM principles with creativity. Coco Lee, the Brand Director, expressed the brand's enthusiasm for participating in such a vibrant culture of innovation. "We’re here at Open Sauce because it celebrates the maker spirit we believe in," she stated. This sentiment echoed throughout the booth, where attendees could see the fun side of technology and collaboration.

Elegoo's exhibit featured several groundbreaking showcases:

1. Open-source AI Robot Fleet

Elegoo unveiled its fleet of nine open-source AI robots, a project brought to life by its dedicated engineers. Running on the ESP32-S3 chip, these robots were inspired by designs from the Otto robot and the XiaoZhi AI project. Leveraging 3D printing techniques, Elegoo designed custom casings, revamped control boards, and rewrote firmware to create a unique version of these robots. These AI-powered creations can respond to voice commands, display emotions, capture photos, execute specified movements, and interpret user intentions with the help of integrated sensors. By merging open-source technology with 3D printing and AI, Elegoo aims to inspire developers worldwide.

2. Animatronic Wings

In collaboration with Willow Creative, Elegoo showcased mesmerizing animatronic wings. Created in just four weeks, these wings are made from 3D printed parts—including feathers, hinges, connectors, and a backpack frame—all produced using the OrangeStorm Giga and Centauri Carbon 3D printers. Each feather, crafted from transparent PETG, is equipped with addressable 3mm LED strips, creating breathtaking dynamic light effects that are sure to captivate audiences.

3. Tipsy - The Intelligent Pouring System

Not just visually appealing, Elegoo also brought functionality to the table with Tipsy: a totally intelligent AI pouring system designed by Concept Bytes and supported by Elegoo with 3D printing expertise. This innovative machine connects to twelve drink sources and dispenses precise shots using minimal pumps. Its outer casing is entirely 3D printed and features a digital control panel that displays ChatGPT-generated drink images for a personalized user experience.

4. GlowGear Cosplay Sword

For the cosplay enthusiasts, Elegoo introduced the GlowGear, a futuristic sword created in partnership with Little Jem. This enchanting sword features smoke effects and sound capabilities, taking over 120 hours to produce on the Centauri Carbon printer, demonstrating the complex but rewarding process behind 3D printing.

In addition to these remarkable projects, visitors to Elegoo's booth could also check out the latest in 3D printing technology, including the Centauri Carbon and Jupiter 2 printers. Interactive games, prizes, and promotional giveaways further enhanced the visitor experience, showcasing the fun side of tech engagement.
