Discover Tamabi's Inaugural Summer Open Campus in Uenokouge
Tamabi University is excited to announce the debut of its
Summer Open Campus in Uenokouge, a fantastic opportunity to explore its artistic disciplines. Traditionally held at the Hachioji campus, this year's edition welcomes attendees to the Setagaya Uenokouge campus, offering an immersive experience into the world of Integrated Design and Theater/Dance Design programs.
A Unique Learning Experience
The open campus will feature numerous hands-on programs that showcase the everyday learning environment of these artistic fields. Participants can look forward to unique workshops, practical classes, and demonstrations from faculty and current students that bring the educational experience to life.
Integrated Design Workshops: Attendees will have the chance to join design workshops and observe open classes to get a glimpse of the curriculum in action.
Theater and Dance Design Workshops: Participants can engage in body movement workshops and experience live performances created by the students themselves.
Moreover, visitors will be granted access to classrooms and studios, typically reserved for students, providing a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see where creativity is born.
Community and Culture: Uenokouge Summer Festival
This year, the Summer Open Campus coincides with the
Uenokouge Natsuyoi Matsuri, a lively summer festival initiated last year. This event aims to bring students and the local community together. Attendees can enjoy traditional bon dances, food stalls, interactive workshops, and concerts, creating an unforgettable celebration that highlights the spirit of Tamabi.
Who Should Attend?
The event welcomes high school students, recent graduates interested in the Integrated Design and Theater/Dance Design programs, and anyone curious about what the art school summer festival has to offer.
