Empowering Women's Health: A Seminar on Bone Care and Longevity
On July 9th, Hamada Hospital, located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, will host a seminar aimed at promoting women's health with a particular focus on bone care and longevity. This event is organized by Central Medience, in partnership with this long-established medical institution that has a rich history dating back to the Meiji era, boasting approximately 130 years of service in the community.
As a facility equipped with the latest medical technologies, Hamada Hospital is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to its patients. Following the initiation of orthopedic outpatient services in June 2025, the hospital has made it a priority to support women’s health issues, addressing specific challenges that women face, particularly regarding musculoskeletal health.
The seminar, titled "Bone Care and Health Longevity: Deepening Knowledge on Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment," will feature Dr. Shunsuke Katsumi, a specialist in spinal diseases, as the keynote speaker. His approach emphasizes personalized treatment plans, tailored to each individual's condition, which is especially crucial for women experiencing an increased risk of osteoporosis during menopause around the age of 50. During the seminar, Dr. Katsumi will explain the mechanisms behind decreased bone density and quality and discuss lifestyle habits and therapeutic options that can contribute to preventative care.
This event invites not only women concerned about their bone health but also those who have family members dealing with osteoporosis. All women are encouraged to attend and are welcome to bring questions for a comprehensive Q&A session at the end of the presentation. Additionally, every participant will receive a small gift to thank them for attending.
