Diane Heyden brings over 30 years of significant experience in financial services, particularly in the realm of SBA lending. Her extensive background encompasses the management of nationwide SBA sales activities, where she played a pivotal role in launching an expansive SBA loan origination program. Heyden is also noted for her success in developing high-performing SBA teams and managing business development officers effectively. As she steps into her new role at WCCB, she aims to amplify the operational efficiency within the SBA department, ultimately assisting in the bank’s expansion within its service footprint.

In her own words, Heyden remarked on the honor of joining WCCB during a pivotal period for the bank's growth. "I look forward to working with and expanding an SBA team that is so highly regarded in the industry," she stated. Before joining WCCB, Diane served as the Senior Vice President and SBA Sales Manager at Mission Valley Bank, alongside previous notable positions including Senior Vice President, SBA Manager at Lincoln Savings Bank and Senior Vice President, Director of SBA Lending at Pacific Premier Bank.
On top of her professional achievements, Heyden has been actively involved in her community, serving on the board of the Huntington Beach Educational Foundation. Additionally, she held the esteemed position of Chair of the Huntington Beach 4th of July board, demonstrating her commitment to local initiatives.
Heyden holds a degree from California State University, Long Beach and is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Her involvement in the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders includes serving as Chair of the NAGGL Small Bank West committee for five consecutive years, showcasing her leadership and influence in the field.
