DuPont Expands Leadership with Qnity Electronics Board Members



On June 11, 2025, DuPont (NYSE:DD) announced significant additions to the future board of directors of Qnity Electronics, Inc., which will be a standalone public company following DuPont’s planned spin-off. Mark A. Blinn and Dr. Yi Hyon Paik are set to join the Qnity Board, with Blinn taking on the role of chairman.

Mark A. Blinn: A Seasoned Executive


Mark A. Blinn has an extensive history in the electronics sector, having served as the chief executive officer, president, and director of Flowserve Corporation until his retirement in 2017. His leadership experience extends to his current membership on the board of Texas Instruments, a leading global semiconductor company, a position he has held for over a decade. Additionally, Blinn contributes his expertise to Emerson Electric Co. and Globe Life Inc., further showcasing his dynamic leadership background.

Dr. Yi Hyon Paik: An Innovator in Semiconductors


Dr. Yi Hyon Paik brings over twenty years of specialized experience in semiconductors and electronic materials to his new position. His past roles include serving as the president and chief strategy officer of Samsung SDI and executive vice president at Samsung Cheil Industries. His executive journey encompasses notable positions at The Dow Chemical Company and Rohm & Haas. Currently, he also sits on the board of Orion S.A., a global specialty chemicals company, and advises RecycLiCo Battery Materials Inc. Dr. Paik’s expertise will be invaluable in shaping the strategic direction of Qnity.
