A Proven Leader in Nonprofit Sector
Before his appointment, David Quilleon served as the Senior Vice President of Global Mission at Best Buddies International, Inc., where he was pivotal in generating $40 million in revenue. His strategic leadership in guiding teams through major gift campaigns and securing funding from various sources showcases his results-oriented approach and ability to drive growth. Under his leadership, Best Buddies saw remarkable expansions that emphasized community engagement and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
David’s tenure also includes roles such as the Vice President of Programs and State Director at Best Buddies Illinois, as well as his foundational work with Best Buddies Florida. His adept management of diverse programs and budget considerations highlights his proficiency in fiscal responsibility, making him a versatile candidate suited for the challenges ahead.

In addition to his experience at Best Buddies, David took a brief hiatus from the organization to serve as the Executive Director of Palm Beach Pops, Inc.. During this period, he managed operations for Florida’s premier pops orchestra, successfully increasing subscriptions, ticket sales, and funding for community outreach.
