Final Call for Innovators: EIT Jumpstarter 2025

The EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) has announced its final call for registrations for the 2025 EIT Jumpstarter programme. This prestigious pre-accelerator initiative invites innovative minds from across Europe, with a special emphasis on participants from the Balkans and Mediterranean regions, as well as the EU’s Outermost Regions. The programme aims to transform original ideas into viable businesses, catering to aspiring entrepreneurs looking for support and funding.

What is EIT Jumpstarter?

The EIT Jumpstarter provides a launchpad for entrepreneurs by offering €150,000 in funding and comprehensive support designed to turn innovative ideas into market-ready solutions. For potential applicants, this is a crucial opportunity to connect with a top-tier innovation network and take their ideas to the next level. The deadline to apply is April 2, 2025, and those interested are encouraged to visit eitjumpstarter.eu to learn more.

Success Over the Years

The EIT Jumpstarter has enjoyed significant success over the years. Since its inception, it has cultivated over 1,300 entrepreneurs, led to the establishment of 124 startups, and created around 2,600 new jobs. With participating startups having raised approximately €150 million in external investment, the programme boasts an impressive return on investment—every €1 invested generates €30 for the startups involved.

Special Focus for 2025

This year, an added dimension of the programme is its focus on the Mediterranean and the EU Outermost Regions, including locations such as Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion, Martinique, and the Canary Islands. Additionally, innovators from regions such as North Macedonia, Albania, and Serbia are strongly encouraged to apply, with specific opportunities tailored for these areas.
