Martin & Company, a prominent investment advisory firm based in Knoxville, has announced a significant leadership change as Darren Williams steps into the role of President and CEO. This decision comes as Michael Holt, the previous leader who has been at the helm for six years, transitions away from the day-to-day management, although he will still maintain engagement with client relationships.

Darren graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he earned degrees in biochemistry and finance. His academic journey didn’t stop there; he further distinguished himself by completing the Chartered Financial Analyst® program, securing the prestigious CFA® designation. Additionally, Williams has been a part of the university's academic community as an adjunct instructor, teaching investment and portfolio management to undergraduate students for a decade.
