Introducing 'Katsudori': A High-End Yakitori Experience with Rare Taksaka Chicken in Shibuya

On July 5, a luxurious yakitori restaurant named 'Katsudori' will open in Shibuya, showcasing the exclusive Taksaka chicken, known for its superior quality and rarity. Only available at five locations across Japan, this high-end eatery promises a unique culinary experience that honors the delicate flavors of Taksaka chicken, recognized by Michelin star establishments and esteemed dining lists.

Prior to its grand opening, Katsudori will offer an exclusive course through the crowdfunding platform Makuake starting June 19. This innovative project aims to provide those who support the restaurant with unique access to its carefully curated menu.
Makuake allows backers to choose from various luxurious dining experiences, including special pairings with fine wines and seasonal sake.

Katsudori stands out as the fifth dedicated restaurant in Japan to serve Taksaka chicken, putting a spotlight on a specific, high-quality breed acclaimed for its taste and texture. The chef's skilled grilling techniques promise to deliver exceptional yakitori that emphasizes this chicken’s rich flavor. Dishes will include a variety of innovative appetizers, delicious main courses, and delightful desserts, served in an elegant setting that is perfect for special occasions.

The dining experience is limited to a few selected guests each day, ensuring personalized service and a truly memorable meal. The ambience combines modern design with a touch of luxury, making it an ideal choice for business meetings or private gatherings.

The 'Late Short Course' features an introductory experience of Taksaka chicken, starting with a rich soup made from the chicken, followed by highlights such as grilled thigh and tsukune skewers. The comprehensive Taksaka chicken course incorporates 14 meticulously crafted dishes, including white liver and rare cuts, offering a complete immersion into what Taksaka chicken has to offer. The signature claypot rice, infused with flavors from charcoal grilling, is another must-try dish, ensuring a culinary journey like no other.

In addition to an exceptional dining experience, Katsudori also features innovative dishes served between skewers, presenting a fresh culinary approach to traditional dining.
