In a significant leadership change, Okura Nikko Hotel Management, a subsidiary of Hotel Okura Co., Ltd., has announced the appointment of Hidetaka Takasaka as its new President and CEO effective June 26, 2025. Hidetaka Takasaka, a graduate of the University of Tokyo, brings over 35 years of experience from the finance sector to his new role. Before his appointment as President, he held the position of Senior Executive Officer and head of the Operations Management Division at Okura Nikko Hotel Management since 2024. In this capacity, he was instrumental in managing operations across the group’s hotels both domestically and internationally, implementing a management approach that incorporates a strong business perspective.
Takasaka's extensive background in finance is expected to serve as a cornerstone for guiding the continued expansion of Okura Nikko Hotels in an increasingly diverse hospitality market. His appointment aligns with the company’s strategic goals to enhance operational management and to meet the growing demands of their customer base effectively.
