SUNLU Celebrates 13 Years of Innovation with AMS Lite Heater Launch and Factory Expansion

SUNLU Celebrates 13 Years of Innovation

As July begins, SUNLU marks its 13th anniversary, reflecting on over a decade of groundbreaking work in the realm of 3D printing materials, filament drying technologies, and user-oriented product development. Established in 2013 in Zhuhai, known as the capital of 3D printing accessories, SUNLU has consistently centered its strategy on users, offering high-quality products at affordable prices while continually optimizing its processes to enhance user experiences.

The milestone 13th anniversary serves not only as a celebration of past achievements but as a platform to honor the creativity and community spirit within the 3D printing landscape. To commemorate this occasion, SUNLU has launched a global anniversary campaign aimed at giving back to its community. As part of this initiative, the company will reward 100 loyal users across various platforms with prizes, which include 10,000 rolls of filament among other exclusive anniversary gifts. Additionally, a special lottery will give customers the chance to win the much-anticipated AMS Lite Heater, as a token of appreciation for the ongoing support and trust from users around the world.

Introduction of the AMS Lite Heater

Adding to the festivities, SUNLU has also unveiled its latest innovation: the AMS Lite Heater, set to officially launch on July 20, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. This upgrade, specifically designed for users of the Bambu Lab AMS Lite, enables simultaneous printing and drying of filaments without compromising the original functions of the device. By integrating active drying technology with continuous printing, the AMS Lite Heater ensures optimal filament conditions are maintained throughout the printing process, aiming to improve print quality and reduce errors caused by moisture.

Moisture in filament is a common cause of printing errors that lead to issues such as stringing, poor layer adhesion, surface defects, and inconsistent print quality. The AMS Lite Heater addresses these concerns by allowing users to dry the filament during the printing process, thus eliminating the need to interrupt workflows or transfer materials between devices.

The system supports drying temperatures of up to 70°C and is compatible with a variety of commonly used materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, and PC. Its innovative design features dual airflow channels, ensuring even heat distribution throughout the chamber and preventing hotspots or uneven heating. Furthermore, an intelligent automatic ventilation system actively expels moisture during operation, enhancing overall drying efficiency.

To further ensure filament quality, the upgrade includes high-precision moisture monitoring. Users can set humidity thresholds, allowing the system to automatically activate drying as needed, thus maintaining optimal storage conditions 24/7. Coupled with numerous built-in safety features and temperature monitoring systems, the AMS Lite Heater presents a secure, comfortable, and highly effective solution for maintaining filament performance throughout the printing process.

Expanding Presence in North America

In conjunction with the AMS Lite Heater launch, SUNLU continues to push its global expansion, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening its presence in North America with the expansion of its manufacturing infrastructure in the USA. This significant investment will enhance product availability, reduce delivery times, and provide a faster, more efficient service to its growing customer base in the region.

As SUNLU looks toward the future, it remains dedicated to technological innovation and research and development, having secured over 530 intellectual property rights since its inception. With over 270 production lines and more than 25 million products sold, SUNLU is committed to delivering high-quality products at competitive prices. The company continues to advance the 3D printing industry through innovations and customer-centric solutions.
