New Educational Alliances: Tokyo Denki University and Otsuma Nakano High School

On August 25, Tokyo Denki University, led by President Tadahiko Iba, officially signed a collaboration agreement with Otsuma Nakano Middle and High School, under the guidance of Principal Takao Morohashi. This agreement, which took place at the university's Tokyo Senju campus, aims to enhance educational connections and mutual understanding between middle/high school and university levels. Through this collaboration, both institutions hope to broaden the perspectives of students and enhance their motivation for pursuing higher education.

Otsuma Nakano School, guided by its founding spirit of "Cultivating Arts and Sciences for Humanity" and its motto "Know Shame," strives to develop individuals capable of shaping a sustainable and more equitable society while fostering their own happiness. Building on its focus on internationalization, the school aims to inspire an interest in science and technology among its students through this partnership.

Prior to the signing of this agreement, there had already been informal exchanges, such as support and guidance from Tokyo Denki University instructors for the school's practical courses. With the formalization of this partnership, both institutions are committed to deepening their collaborative efforts in education further. Future initiatives include lecturers and workshops from the university professors at the school, as well as joint exploratory activities.
