Power Metallic Mines Enhances Exploration at Nisk Project with Innovative Geophysical Techniques

Power Metallic Mines Expands Exploration Arsenal at Nisk Project

Power Metallic Mines Inc., listed as TSXV: PNPN and OTCBB: PNPNF, has declared a significant expansion of its exploration efforts at the Nisk Project, located in Quebec, Canada. This move comes as part of its 2026 summer exploration program, leveraging advanced geophysical surveys to accelerate the identification of deeper high-grade nickel-copper-PGE mineralization.

Overview of the Expansion

Building on the recently initiated Muon Tomography program, which started on May 13, the Company is deploying three sophisticated geophysical surveys. These include an Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) survey targeting the Nisk Far West area, a detailed gravity survey over the Lion area, and an advanced superconducting quantum magnetometer (SQUIDs) survey. This multifaceted approach aims to enhance discovery chances across the expansive property, particularly following Power Metallic's significant land acquisitions in 2025.

As summer sets in, the exploration will ramp up with field mapping and prospecting activities focusing on previously identified magnetic and electromagnetic targets. The Company aims to complete over 30,000 meters of exploration drilling across the enlarged Nisk land package within the next two quarters.

Geophysical Survey Details

SQUIDs Survey: Illuminating Deep Targets

The SQUIDs survey aims at identifying deep magnetic targets that may correlate with nickel-copper mineralization. Conducted over the Lion and Lion West areas, this survey began in winter 2026 and seeks to refine the understanding of the magnetic signatures associated with copper and nickel mineralization.

Gravity Survey: Identifying High-Density Sulphide Bodies

A large gravity survey is being executed over the areas including Lion, Nisk, and Nisk West. This survey is expected to reveal high-density targets, potentially linked to massive sulphide deposits. The current survey follows up on a larger area covered in 2024 and is aligned with the land expansion begun in 2025.

Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) Survey

As part of follow-up efforts to previous discoveries, the ANT survey aims to model the spatial distribution of dense ultramafic rock formations likely connected to significant copper and PGE zones. The survey, facilitated by Caur Technologies with support from Geosig Inc., will employ over 200 sensors across an extensive area, enhancing targeted exploration in areas previously identified for their mineralization potential.

Future Plans and Environmental Considerations

In addition to the immediate exploration activities, Power Metallic is also conducting a regional lake sediment survey this summer. This survey will assist in identifying mineralized watersheds and contribute to the environmental baseline studies necessary for future mine development feasibility reports.

As the exploration continues, the Company remains committed to environmental standards, ensuring that future development considers necessary mitigation efforts.
