Unleashing the SATANIC IPA

The SATANIC IPA is a West Coast IPA featuring an alcohol content of 6.0%. Crafted with an exceptional blend of hops such as Citra, Mosaic, and Cascade, this beer promises a symphony of flavors that reflect the festival's electrifying atmosphere. It will only be available during the festival for 1,500 yen (tax included) in a generous 473ml (16oz) can.

The brewing process for this highly anticipated IPA is managed by Teenage Brewing, located in Tokigawa, Saitama. With a carefully designed hop profile, drinkers can expect a burst of grapefruit and apricot aromas complemented by a subtle resin note. The beer's sharp finish paired with a balanced bitterness creates a smooth experience that resonates with the vibrant energy of the live performances.

In the spirit of collaboration, renowned artist Ichiro, from SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!! and part of the SATANIC CARNIVAL lineup, was invited to assist in the beer's development. Ichiro shared his thoughts on the tasting experience at BrewDog’s flagship Tokyo location:

“As I encountered the shimmering golden drop, I started with the classic PUNK IPA that showcases a refreshing crispness combined with a hint of fruitiness, setting it apart from the rest. The aftertaste offers a pleasant bitterness that screams classic beer. Next came HAZY JANE, where the vibrant aroma immediately struck me! The citrus notes were refreshing and left me in awe. The sweetness enveloped my palate, much like orange juice, reinforcing the beauty of unfiltered beer. It’s difficult to choose between the two, but the taste of SATANIC IPA is sure to resonate with festival-goers looking for that refreshing and fruity kick that’s perfect for the venue!”
