Best Use of Social Media. These honors were bestowed during the highly regarded 2024 Moodies, an event organized by the Moodie Davitt Report, celebrating excellence in the global travel retail industry.
The airport's marketing team earned accolades for their innovative approach, particularly highlighting the success of the
"Not So Fast" rebranding campaign. This effort not only stood out as the
Best Campaign – Airport but also won multiple categories including
Best Overall Use of Social Digital Media and
Best Use of Video – Airport. The Moodie judges praised the
ONT team for their “exceptionally disruptive attitude” and
effective engagement with their target audience, resulting in significant advancements for the airport's visibility and passenger engagement.
Furthermore, the social media strategies implemented by ONT, particularly through platforms like
LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, garnered recognition for their creative content delivery and impressive performance metrics. The judges noted the airport's adept utilization of these platforms to combine vital information with a captivating narrative, bringing the ONT experience to life in a relatable manner.
