Positive Sobriety Institute Rebrands as PSI Health to Enhance Addiction Recovery Services

In a significant shift aimed at expanding its offerings, the Positive Sobriety Institute (PSI) has officially changed its name to PSI Health. This rebranding comes alongside the evolution of its assessment program, MCAP Chicago, highlighting a commitment to broadening its scope in professional health, well-being, and recovery services. The change was announced on June 22, 2026, and signifies a fresh approach while retaining the same dedication to clinical excellence and confidentiality that clients have come to trust.

According to John Gardiner, Program Director at PSI Health, “This change reflects a broader vision for us and the continued evolution of our program.” The institute seeks to strengthen its partnerships while offering more comprehensive support tailored to the unique needs of those in recovery.

Despite the name change, PSI Health assures existing and potential clients that its core mission remains intact. The organization will continue to provide high-quality care and individualized programming. Among its offerings are Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) levels of care, along with family program sessions, aftercare support, and fitness for duty assessments.

Additionally, Executive Director Dominic Angres reassured stakeholders that while the name has changed, the familiar team behind the brand will remain in place, continuing their legacy of effective treatment programs. He stated, “We are excited to launch this fresh update to our legacy brand,” emphasizing the aim to offer updated and relevant support tailored to today’s recovery needs.
