Cohen & Steers Reports Assets Under Management for December 2025

Cohen & Steers, Inc., a major player in investment management, has released its preliminary data on assets under management (AUM) and net flows for the end of December 2025. As of December 31, 2025, the firm reported a total AUM of $90.5 billion. This represents a decline of $1.4 billion compared to the $91.9 billion reported a month earlier on November 30, 2025.

To delve deeper, here’s a breakdown of the AUM by investment vehicle:
  • - Institutional Accounts: For institutional accounts, AUM began the month at $35.49 billion. These accounts saw inflows of $167 million but experienced market depreciation of $625 million and distributions of $56 million, bringing their total down to $35.06 billion by month-end.
  • - Open-end Funds: Open-end funds reported an AUM of $44.19 billion with net inflows of $407 million. However, they too faced market depreciation of $633 million leading to a closing figure of $43.44 billion.
