Background of Technology Development
In alignment with our mid-term management plan, we are currently focused on promoting growth strategies, strengthening our business structure, enhancing globalization, and creating new values. In light of expanding global regulations on PFAS, many countries are requiring compliance, and we have successfully developed fluorine-free antistatic agents using over 30 years of synthesis technology related to phosphorus derivatives.
The newly developed product is designed as an ionic-liquid type that can blend with various resins. We are also actively working on developing multiple grades of this product to better meet customer demands. With the expanding PFAS regulations, we are accelerating our development framework to initiate early-stage production at our Fukushima Dai-ni plant located in Tamura-gun, Fukushima Prefecture. Our goal is to receive positive evaluations from various stakeholders and to advance this product's development collaboratively in overcoming PFAS regulation challenges, ultimately contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
