The Global Learner’s Institute (GLI) is excited to announce the launch of its innovative program, 'Messy Masterpiece', scheduled for May, June, and September of 2026. This program will take place at GLI Hiroo Campus and aims to combine English language learning with artistic expression. More than just a skill acquisition initiative, 'Messy Masterpiece' seeks to foster critical thinking, questioning skills, and personal expression among participants.

Cultivating a Global Perspective through Art

Often, art is seen merely as a technique for depicting images. However, true art involves understanding the world, questioning it, and expressing one’s insights. The 'Messy Masterpiece' program encourages participants to cultivate:

- Diverse Perspectives: Learn to approach problems from various angles.
- Questioning Skills: Develop the ability to ask thoughtful questions.
- Articulation of Thoughts and Emotions: Gain the skills to express feelings and ideas in words.

Through engaging in dialogue and expression in English, participants will simultaneously enhance their thinking and communication abilities, which are essential in today's international society.

Under the guidance of professional artist GOLNOOSH, participants will experience the essence of art, leading to a sense of achievement for beginners and deeper exploration for those with experience.

Exploring the World of Expression Through Three Techniques

Throughout the program, participants will explore three distinct painting techniques:

- May: Pastel
- June: Watercolor
- September: Mixed Media

Alongside mastering fundamental skills in each technique, participants will delve into the underlying expressive intentions and worldviews behind their creations.

- May 16 (Sat) / May 23 (Sat) - Pastel
- June 20 (Sat) / June 27 (Sat) - Watercolor
- September 12 (Sat) / September 19 (Sat) - Mixed Media

Each session is from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Location: GLI Hiroo Classroom 2
Eligibility: Ages 7 to high school students (Parents are welcome to join)
Participation Fee (tax included):

- GLI Students: ¥7,500 per session
- External Participants: ¥8,500 per session

10% discount for full attendance.
Partial attendance is allowed, but participation in both days for a chosen theme is recommended.
