AAON Welcomes Roberto Giacomelli as Senior Vice President of Operations

AAON, Inc. has welcomed Roberto Giacomelli to its executive team as the Senior Vice President of Operations. With over 24 years of experience in manufacturing from various industries including automotive and HVAC, Giacomelli is set to play a key role in optimizing the operations across AAON's five manufacturing facilities in the U.S. located in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Longview, Texas; Kansas City, Missouri; Redmond, Oregon; and Memphis, Tennessee.

In this newly appointed role, Giacomelli will oversee crucial operations departments, including Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Quality, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, as well as Materials and Facilities Planning. His appointment marks a significant step forward for AAON which has established itself as a leader in providing high-performance and energy-efficient HVAC solutions.

Giacomelli's extensive background showcases his dedication to operational excellence and team building. He is recognized as a high-energy leader with a successful record of implementing Lean manufacturing principles and strategic initiatives across multiple locations. His experience spans various countries, including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, demonstrating his capability to manage complex operations.

Academically, Giacomelli holds an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business, alongside an MBA in Financial Management and a degree in Mechanical Production Engineering.
