Introduction
Kurokawa Kaban, renowned for its craftsmanship since 1895, has announced the launch of a nationwide exhibition for rucksacks intended for students starting school in April 2027. The first exhibitions are scheduled for December, held in Yokohama and Osaka, followed by multiple cities in January 2026.
Exhibition Details
Visitors can experience the feel and fit of the backpacks by trying them on at the events. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore a total of
75 models, including the newly unveiled designs. Exclusive physical catalogs for 2027 will be distributed to visitors, available in limited quantities.

New Brand Launch: Spring Snow
Commencing on November 30, Kurokawa will accept orders for its new brand
“Spring Snow,” themed around the melting snow of spring. The collection highlights a shimmering palette, reminiscent of delicate snowflakes, along with a jet-black shade inspired by the earth beneath the snow. The new rucksack features a spacious volume of
13.5cm, accommodating the growing demands of modern school supplies. It comes in
eight stunning colors and interior designs, including heart and black check patterns. Customers can view the collection at the Kurokawa stores in Toyama and Ginza, as well as at the exhibition venues.

A digital catalog encompassing the entire line-up for the 2027 school year is now accessible. Users can browse the catalog directly on their smartphones or computers upon requesting a copy.
