LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight

In an exciting announcement, SEGA revealed that it will be publishing LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight, set to release for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (through Steam and Epic Games Store) in 2026. With origins steeped in comics, films, and TV shows spanning a rich 86-year history, this open-world action-adventure game follows the journey of young Bruce Wayne as he transitions into the iconic hero known as Batman. The game captures the essence of the beloved LEGO® franchise, blending humor with thrilling action to create a unique gaming experience.

Players will find themselves exploring Gotham City in this dynamic narrative as Bruce trains with the shadows, encountering allies like Robin and Catwoman while facing off against legendary villains from the DC Universe, including the notorious Joker.

An exciting new dynamic battle system has been introduced to enhance the gameplay experience. Players will be able to execute powerful strikes, seamless combo attacks, and flashy takedowns that are signature to Batman’s fighting style. The game will cater to a range of players, offering a solo mode or cooperative gameplay for two. There will be varying difficulty levels, from accessible gameplay for newcomers to challenging modes that push the limits of seasoned players.

Set in the sprawling metropolis of Gotham, the game incorporates numerous features such as crime prevention, puzzle-solving, and collectible gathering. Players can traverse the city’s landscape with a grapple launcher, glide effortlessly with the Bat-glider, and navigate the streets in the Batmobile or motorcycles.
