Speaker Profiles

Hiroshi Yoshikawa:
Former president of Rissho University, Honorary Professor at Tokyo University, and Advisor to the Bank of Japan. Dr. Yoshikawa graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo and holds a Ph.D. from Yale University. His research focuses on macroeconomics, and he has authored several books, including "Japan - Decline or Revival: The Spirit of the Age and Animal Spirits" (2026) and "Reconstructing Macroeconomics." In recognition of his contributions, he was honored as a Cultural Merit Recipient in 2023.

Yukinobu Kitamura:
The current president of Rissho University and a professor in the Faculty of Data Science. He graduated from Keio University and completed his doctoral studies at the University of Oxford. His prior roles include positions at OECD, the Bank of Japan Financial Research Institute, and Hitotsubashi University.

Keiko Murata:
A professor in the Faculty of Economics at Rissho University, Dr. Murata graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo and pursued a master's degree at the University of Oxford. She has served in various prestigious roles, including positions at the Cabinet Office and as a professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University.
