Vijit Chao Phraya 2025: A Glimmering Tribute in Bangkok
From November 9 to December 23, 2025, the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok will transform into a mesmerizing spectacle known as Vijit Chao Phraya 2025. This extraordinary light and sound event, themed "Light of Siam – Mother of the Land," is organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to honor the beloved Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
A Celebration of Remembrance and Unity
The stunning display aims to reflect the themes of remembrance, compassion, and national unity, especially during this period of national mourning for the Queen Mother. Each night from 6 PM to 10 PM, the riverside will come alive with softened colors and elegant light designs, paving the way for a serene visual tribute to the Queen Mother that replaces the traditional fireworks with graceful drone performances.

Vijit Chao Phraya 2025 spans 14 major landmarks along the river. Here’s a glimpse of some standout displays:
- - Rama VIII Bridge: Themed “The Royal Compassion, a Stream to Rama VIII,” this display features royal colors – blue, white, and golden yellow – interlaced with motifs of the Thai flag and projections of the Queen Mother's royal emblem.
