PC AGE Career Institute Now Offers $200 Monthly Stipend for All IT Students

PC AGE Career Institute Expands Financial Support for IT Students

In a significant move to support its students, the PC AGE Career Institute, renowned for its fast-track training in IT and Cybersecurity, has announced the extension of its $200 monthly stipend to all students enrolled in programs starting this September. This expansion, which broadens the previously restricted stipend for Pell Grant-eligible students, aims to alleviate the financial pressures faced by individuals pursuing education in technology.

Zafar Khizer, the founder and president of PC AGE, emphasized that for many working-class adults, the primary obstacle is not the tuition fees but the cost of living while studying. He stated, “We want students to focus on building a better future, not just surviving the present.” The program was initially tested as a pilot scheme and is now set to aid a wider range of students, including those using federal loans to finance their education.

The stipend is particularly vital for students who often juggle multiple responsibilities alongside their studies. Many report that the financial assistance helps them cut down on stress and meet essential living expenses such as transportation, food, and childcare. One student shared, “As a parent with significant home responsibilities, I can’t work full-time while in the program. This stipend has helped cover critical expenses.” Another echoed similar sentiments, highlighting how the funding significantly impacts their daily life.

PC AGE's training program prepares students for entry-level positions in IT and Cybersecurity in just 9 to 12 months. Graduates frequently secure jobs with salaries ranging from $40,000 to $60,000, and many can achieve over $80,000 within a few years of entering the workforce, all without needing a college degree or prior technical experience.

The stipend is available for a limited time to all enrolled students who maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in their respective programs, whether day or evening. This initiative marks a turning point in how vocational education institutions can support students financially, thus enhancing their chances of success.

Founded in 1991, PC AGE Career Institute has established itself as an accredited technical school that specializes in practical IT and Cybersecurity training. With multiple campuses in Clifton, Jersey City, Iselin, and an online format available nationwide, the institute has successfully assisted thousands of students in launching exciting and lucrative tech careers regardless of their background or educational history.
