Enthusiasts of the popular rhythm and adventure game, 'Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku,' can look forward to major updates launching on May 17, 2026. Sega and Colorful Palette are collaborating once again to bring forth an exciting World Link Event titled "Great Yell for Dreamers!" and a new gacha system called "Vie for the Title."

World Link Event: Great Yell for Dreamers!

This event will run from May 17, 2026, at 20:00 until May 29, 2026, at 19:59. Players will engage in a unique event format that includes individual chapter rankings alongside an overall P-ranking for the event duration. Every participating character will have their own chapter period, allowing players to immerse themselves in different narratives within the event.

During the event, players can organize a "Support Unit" to maximize their score from different chapter events. Each chapter allows players to assemble units solely from specific characters or subunits, which will provide bonus points as they compete for higher scores. Notably, characters like Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len will see all virtual singers eligible in their respective chapter. This dual-layered ranking system encourages players to explore the game's roster while collecting points to earn fabulous in-game rewards.

Additionally, various gameplay modes will contribute to gathering event points, including solo and multiplayer live performances, challenge lives, and ranked matches. Enhanced or specific chapter badges can be exchanged in event-specific shops for character items and unique rewards like world badges that can unlock even more exclusive prizes.

Vie for the Title Gacha

Simultaneously, the "Vie for the Title" gacha starts from May 17, 2026, at 12:00 and continues until May 31, 2026, at 11:59. In this exciting gacha, players can encounter six new characters who will have a higher spawn rate than existing members of the same rarity. Among these new additions, specific ★4 characters will be equipped with special live costumes which will later allow for costume creation in the outfit shop. Players will also unlock unique hairstyles as they advance in the master rank of hair-styled characters.
