Experience the Flavors of Chugoku-Shikoku Region

Starting on June 17 and continuing until June 30, 2024, Seven-Eleven Japan is launching an exciting food fair titled 'Chugoku-Shikoku Umami Wonder Collection.' This initiative offers an exclusive taste of the Chugoku-Shikoku region through eight unique local delicacies that perfectly highlight the area's rich culinary culture. Each of these products is crafted using regional ingredients, allowing both locals and visitors to discover and enjoy the flavors that define this beautiful part of Japan.

Celebrating Local Ingredients

Seven-Eleven Japan, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is dedicated to promoting regional traditions through its 'Regional Fair' concept. By dividing the nation into eleven areas, the company is not only emphasizing 'local production for local consumption' but also promoting 'local production for diverse consumption,' aimed at broader regional engagement. Each area will showcase 6 to 10 exclusive items, crafted by collaborating factories that use familiar local dishes and ingredients.

This summer, the Chugoku-Shikoku fair will spotlight a selection of dishes that embody the area's nature, stemming from the Seto Inland Sea’s rich resources and mild climate. Here’s a look at some of the must-try offerings:
