Discover the First TEDx Okayama University Event in 2025
Okayama University is proud to announce its inaugural TEDx event, TEDx Okayama University, set to take place on April 20, 2025. This exciting occasion will be hosted at the Fifty-Year Memorial Hall, located at the Tsushima Campus, celebrated for its academic achievements and cultural contributions.
Event Overview
This TEDx event aims to spread valuable ideas through presentations, consistent with the global vision of TED Talks, famous for sharing revolutionary ideas worldwide. Organized by a group of enthusiastic students from the university's Global Discovery Program, this event marks a significant milestone as it is the first TEDx event in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions.
Participants will be treated to a diverse range of activities including stimulating speeches from seven speakers with connections to Okayama, along with two student speakers who excelled in the competition held last November. Expect engaging presentations, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities that encourage learning and broaden perspectives.

The event will commence at 10:00 AM, with the following schedule:
