Exciting Renewable Nutrition Pop-Up Event in Shibuya to Promote Sustainable Living

Haishop Café's Exciting Renewable Nutrition Pop-Up Event in Shibuya

Event Overview
From June 18 to July 2, 2025, haishop café will host a special pop-up event titled "Shibuya Circular Café - Enjoy Nutritional Circulation within a 2km Radius" at the Shibuya Scramble Square location. The event, organized by Innovation Design Co., aims to immerse visitors in the potential of nutrient circulation centered around Shibuya, exploring sustainable urban lifestyles through three main areas: eating, learning, and experiencing.

This pop-up is co-hosted with Local Food Cycling, Inc., which promotes a community-centered resource recycling model. It focuses on utilizing compost made from household food waste to nourish urban gardens and vegetables grown by local farmers. The event seeks to demonstrate the importance of nutrient cycling within the local area.

Event Highlights

1. Eat: Unique Menus Featuring Local Ingredients

The pop-up offers collaborative menus created with ingredients sourced from Shibuya. Attendees can taste the essence of urban nutrient circulation through limited-time dishes, including:

Participants can join two engaging programs designed to educate about sustainable urban lifestyles:

  • - Talk event featuring founders from Local Food Cycling and Urban Farmers Club discussing urban circular living and encouraging local actions for sustainability on June 28, from 14:00 to 15:00.

Visitors can engage in a market showcasing eco-friendly products and experience displays that highlight actionable circular living ideas, encouraging community participation in sustainable practices. The haishop market will present products made from compost-grown vegetables, emphasizing social impact through gifting.
