New SuiSavon-Suri Soap Store Opening in Tokyo
Okinawa’s renowned skincare brand, SuiSavon-Suri Soap, is set to expand its reach with a new store opening in Tokyo's Oi Town Tracks on March 28, 2026. The company, led by President Kyosuke Ogata, aims to bring the unique essence of Okinawa to the heart of the metropolis, providing local residents and visitors with an opportunity to experience the beauty and healing properties of Okinawan cosmetics.
Currently, SuiSavon operates 33 locations nationwide, with 19 stores in Okinawa and 14 in other parts of Japan, including three in Tokyo. This strategic location, adjacent to Oi Town Station, is expected to attract a diverse clientele eager to explore the brand's distinctive offerings, inspired by the rich natural resources of Okinawa.
A Message from the Owner
In anticipation of this new chapter, President Kyosuke Ogata expressed his enthusiasm for the new location: “We want to create a resting place for families and communities. Our aim is to share the vibrant culture of Okinawa and to bring smiles to people's faces.” Ogata was inspired by the warmth and history of the area, discovering charming local eateries and an inviting atmosphere amidst ongoing urban development. He hopes that the new store will serve as a gateway for people to discover and appreciate Okinawa's rich culture and natural beauty.
Grand Opening Events
To celebrate the grand opening, SuiSavon will host a special event featuring a unique opportunity for customers to purchase local Okinawan vegetables for just 100 yen. The opening will take place over the weekend of March 28-29, with vegetable sales starting at 3 PM daily.
Additionally, special gifts will be available in limited quantities for early customers. The first 100 shoppers spending over 4,400 yen will receive a piece of their signature soap, known as ‘Island Blessing’. Those spending over 8,800 yen will be eligible for a complimentary bottle or pouch of their acclaimed Spice & Vegetable Conditioner.
