Celebrating Excellence: Tiffany Moon Named 2026 National Caregiver of the Year

Tiffany Moon Awarded 2026 National Caregiver of the Year

Visiting Angels, a leader in non-medical home care, has announced that Tiffany Moon from Charleston, West Virginia, has been recognized as the 2026 National Caregiver of the Year. This accolade, which has celebrated outstanding caregivers for seven years, highlights Moon's remarkable commitment and compassion in her role, ensuring that seniors and the vulnerable are cared for thoughtfully in the comfort of their homes.

Since joining Visiting Angels in 2019, Tiffany Moon has dedicated herself not only to her clients but also to mentoring nearly 100 fellow caregivers throughout her tenure. Her leadership qualities and unwavering support have been invaluable to her colleagues, enabling them to provide the same level of care that she is known for.

Scott Parrish, President of Visiting Angels, praised Moon's empathetic approach: "Tiffany exemplifies all that we aspire to at Visiting Angels — compassion, professionalism, and providing genuine connections. Her warmth and understanding are qualities every family seeks in their caregiver. We're proud to celebrate her extraordinary work."

The recognition comes with a $10,000 award, which Moon received at the Visiting Angels annual conference held in Scottsdale, Arizona. In her heartfelt acceptance, she expressed profound gratitude, stating, "Being named Caregiver of the Year is such an honor for me. This recognition means everything. I love my role, the people I work with, and the families I serve. Being able to support them through challenging times is truly a blessing."

In addition to Moon, two finalists were recognized for their exceptional service—Amanda Williams from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and Eddie Thomas from Northeast San Antonio, Texas. Both finalists were awarded $5,000 for their dedication to caregiving, and semi-finalists also received acknowledgment with a $1,000 prize each.
