Support for Gen Z's Initiatives: Introducing Minna no Cheer Box
In an exciting new initiative, Minna no Ginko, the first digital bank in Japan targeting Generation Z, has partnered with Kitakyushu's Gen Z division to launch "Cheer Box." This project aims to support young individuals by expanding the network of supporters and providing financial backing to their initiatives. Launched in April 2024, the Kitakyushu Gen Z Division has garnered considerable attention as the first organization of its kind in the country.
Overview of Cheers Box
Cheer Box is a unique savings feature provided through the Minna no Ginko app. It allows users to create purpose-specific savings accounts, referred to as "Boxes," where they can channel their "supportive feelings" toward activities that benefit their teams or communities. By depositing funds into a Cheer Box named after the Kitakyushu Gen Z Division, individuals empower Minna no Ginko to donate 1% of the accumulated deposit balance directly to the Gen Z division.
