Enhancing Airport Operations through the 2023 Public-Private Council

As part of an initiative to boost productivity in airport operations, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) is set to conduct its annual 2023 meeting of the "Public-Private Council for Airport Operations DX Promotion". This initiative focuses on improving essential services like ground handling and security checks at airports.

Objectives of the Meeting

The primary goal of this meeting is to promote the matching of needs and solutions related to airport operation enhancements. By sharing insights among stakeholders on current productivity improvement efforts and technological advancements, the council aims to facilitate collaboration between companies and organizations involved in airport services.

Last year, around 110 entities, including airlines and airport terminal companies, actively participated in the council, linking their operational needs with companies offering relevant technological solutions. This year, the council will expand upon its existing efforts to implement FAST TRAVEL initiatives, presenting the latest trends and insights from participating companies.
