TableCheck Partners with Restaurants for Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, Enhancing Reservation Experience

As the world anticipates the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, taking place from April 13 to October 13, 2025, TableCheck is stepping up as a key partner for restaurants participating in this monumental event. This innovative company, headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, is on a mission to connect restaurants worldwide with guests through advanced reservation and customer management systems. For the Expo, TableCheck will sponsor its sophisticated reservation system, ensuring that dining experiences for both local and international visitors are seamless and efficient.

TableCheck's system supports 23 different languages, providing a crucial tool for international visitors who may face language barriers when searching for and reserving dining options in Japan. By integrating this technology, restaurants participating in the Expo can streamline their booking processes, minimizing wait times and enhancing overall guest satisfaction. This initiative aligns with the Expo's theme, 'Designing a Future Society in Which Life Shines,' and demonstrates TableCheck's commitment to promoting efficient and sustainable dining experiences.

Among the restaurants involved is Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu, located in the Wind Square Marketplace within the Future Life Zone of the Expo. With operating hours from 10:00 to 21:00, guests can reserve tables easily through TableCheck's system. Another notable participant is Tonkatsu Noguchi, which is situated in the tranquility of the Earth Table – Future Dining area, also operating from 10:00 to 21:00.

In addition to its Expo initiative, TableCheck has been excelling in connecting international guests to Japanese eateries through its 'TableCheck Channels' platform. This initiative has seen a surge in reservations from overseas, with the number of bookings by international visitors witnessing a threefold increase compared to 2019. As of March 2025, the platform recorded its highest number of reservations from abroad, setting the stage for a successful Expo.

The demand for restaurants catering to a diverse array of nationalities is expected to spike during the Expo, and TableCheck aims to support the global competitiveness of the Japanese dining sector. Its system not only benefits the guests—by simplifying the reservation process—but also aids restaurants by streamlining their operations, reducing the need for telephone handling and improving cancellation management.

The Osaka-Kansai Expo will be a comprehensive exhibition where countries, international organizations, and companies will come together to showcase advanced technologies and initiatives geared towards achieving a sustainable future. With various pavilions and displays focusing on UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Expo promises to be a significant platform for learning, exchanging experiences, and developing new insights for future generations.

TableCheck's establishment in 2011 has made it a pivotal player in restaurant technology. Its perseverance to create a connected dining experience aligns with the Expo's vision. With a solid financial backing of ¥1 billion (about $9 million) and a total of ¥1.769 billion raised, TableCheck continues its expansion with multiple locations across Japan and nine international offices. As they gear up for the Expo, they reinforce their position and commitment to connecting the world of dining, making it simpler and more efficient for everyone involved.
