This year, the KINNOE (キンノエ) brand is hosting a unique event celebrating dietary fiber education and awareness. From May 16 to June 14, 2026, the KINNOE518 Festival will take place at HOME/WORK VILLAGE in Setagaya, Tokyo. This exciting festival features various activities focused on understanding and enjoying the benefits of fermentable dietary fiber, coinciding with the special day dedicated to its promotion on May 18.
At the heart of the festival is the mini-class "Gather Around! Year One of Gut Studies," where participants can discover the essential knowledge surrounding dietary fiber while enjoying a nutritious school-style lunch. This interactive program emphasizes a hands-on learning experience that makes it easy and enjoyable for attendees to grasp gut health basics.

Instructor: Maki Shibata
Maki Shibata, a talented chef, culinary researcher, and registered dietitian, will lead this informative session. Aimed at beginners in gut health, she will explain the workings of the gut and the significance of incorporating dietary fiber into daily meals, making it relatable and easy to understand. Participants will engage in food tasting, experiencing meals rich in dietary fiber firsthand.

Note: The meals will be served in convenient lunch boxes. Allergy concerns include wheat, eggs, dairy, beef, gelatin, soy, chicken, pork, and apples. Participants will also receive themed souvenirs focusing on gut health!

Simultaneously, the festival will host a “Hungry Good Bacteria Stamp Rally,” allowing visitors to explore the venue while collecting stamps to receive exciting prizes. Follow these simple steps to participate:
1. Collect a stamp sheet at the KINNOE store on the first floor.
2. Find and collect stamps from three designated locations.
3. Show your stamp sheet at KINNOE to claim a prize (limited to the first 200 participants).

Special Offers: “518 (Fiber) Collaboration Menu”
Throughout the festival, nine restaurants within HOME/WORK VILLAGE will present special dishes called the "518 (Fiber) Collaboration Menu," featuring ingredients rich in fermentable dietary fiber. Customers who order from the special menu will receive a voucher that can be exchanged for prizes at KINNOE, limited to the first 200 customers across all participating eateries.
