LITEON Unveils Groundbreaking Solutions at MWC 2025
LITEON Technology has marked its third consecutive participation at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain, showcasing its commitment to innovation and sustainability. Under the theme "One Partner. All Solutions," LITEON has teamed up with eight industry leaders to present cutting-edge, energy-efficient solutions across various sectors including 5G O-RAN, artificial intelligence (AI), and intelligent surveillance systems.
Collaborations Driving Innovation
One of the highlights of LITEON's showcase includes a collaborative project with Vodafone, which explores the integration of 5G O-RAN and AI-driven image recognition technology aimed at advancing smart farming practices. This partnership demonstrates how 5G technology can enhance agricultural efficiency through real-time data analysis and monitoring.
Additionally, LITEON is debuting a high-speed O-RAN demonstration alongside Software Radio Systems (SRS) with their portable, scalable solution called srsRAN Enterprise. This joint effort aims to highlight the capabilities of high-speed communication in modern applications.
In partnership with BubbleRAN, LITEON also introduced an intelligent software control solution that streamlines 5G network management. Furthermore, collaborations with Aespula, Flectory, and Lanner have resulted in integrated turnkey O-RAN solutions designed for seamless deployment across various environments.
Energy-Efficient Private Network Solutions
At MWC 2025, LITEON has also unveiled its private 5G network base station solutions, branded as Simplified MPN. These innovations include a partnership with NTT EAST to develop an all-in-one 5G small cell and SMO platform. This system incorporates smart RAN controllers to optimize small cell operations in real-time, significantly reducing energy consumption by up to 65%.
A joint demonstration with CampusGenius showcases the integration of remote automation within supply chains, enhancing logistical efficiency through 5G connectivity. Collaborating with Yonsei University and Yberg, LITEON is also at the forefront of developing smart factory applications that leverage the speed and low latency of 5G technology, particularly for robotic arms and AI applications, signaling a leap toward Industry 4.0.
Smart Life AIoT Solutions Debut
For the first time at MWC, LITEON is presenting its Smart Life AIoT solutions. Key innovations include AI facial recognition systems, intelligent access control, and smart surveillance technologies under the AI Vision framework, designed to offer real-time detection insights. These advancements reflect LITEON's commitment to integrating networking, 5G, intelligent surveillance, and AI, promoting a new level of IoT solutions that help global enterprises achieve both high performance and energy efficiency.
